Our guest is Dr. Robert Berson, Leader of the Ethical Culture Society of Northern Westchester. Using a Greek tragedy and the story of a modern child with serious health problems, this presentation addresses the nature of empathy, sympathy, and compassion and how those emotions relate to Ethical Culture.
Dr. Berson is a clinical psychologist with a practice in New York City. He is a graduate of the Ethical Culture Schools (the Fieldston School) and the Children’s Sunday Assembly of the Riverdale-Yonkers Society for Ethical Culture.
