Address given by Bart Worden at the Ethical Culture Society of Westchester in White Plains, NY on Sunday, April 7, 2019.

In times of strife and division, we are likely to find ourselves feeling angry and frustrated over the actions of people whose ideologies and values are different from our own. And when we encounter barriers to ethical progress, it may be difficult to manage our mounting impatience. Giving in to our feelings may lead us to behave in ways we later regret. Denying our feelings allows the conditions under which they have arisen to persist.

There is a middle path, however, and our speaker, Leader Bart Worden will try to pursue that path in this talk.
