3 p.m.: Kids’ Book Reading: Award-winning children’s book author J.R. Becker will read (in a space costume!) his book, Annabelle & Aiden: Worlds Within Us, about the big bang, and how we are all made of stardust. He will follow up with a Q&A discussion, singalong, and worksheets for the kids.

4 p.m.: Talk for Adults, childcare provided: Following this event, he will share with the adults his insights into talking to children about the big questions of science, philosophy, and religion. He will reveal his own journey as an author and educator, imparting the wisdom and messaging in his book series, Annabelle & Aiden: Big Questions for Little Thinkers.

J.R. is the author of the Annabelle & Aiden children’s book series, dedicated to inspiring a new generation of scientists, thinkers, and all-around adventurers. The first book, on evolution, became a #1 Bestseller on Amazon. J.R. holds a BA in Philosophy and a Juris Doctorate from Emory University’s School of Law.
