The Ethical Culture Society of Westchester is one part of a vibrant movement coordinated nationally by the American Ethical Union. Here are a list of some of our sister chapters:
The New York Society for Ethical Culture (NYSEC) is the cornerstone of the Ethical movement founded in 1876 by Dr. Felix Adler. Throughout our history we have helped create significant community institutions that have had a long- lasting effect in promoting civil society.
The Ethical Culture Society of Bergen County
Located in Teaneck, NJ the Bergen Society was established over 60 years ago. Bergen’s leader is Dr. Joe Chuman. Current social action projects include founding the Sanctuary Project to help those fleeing persecution in their own country gain asylum in the United States. They also hold a live music coffee house donating a portion of the proceeds to charity.
