Our Ethics For Children Program offers classes for children on Sunday mornings during the school year. Our program focuses on three main areas: character development, service to the community and exposure to diverse perspectives in an ever changing world. Our efforts provide opportunities for kids and teens to develop an ethical compass and practice living in accordance with their ideals.
The Ethical Society’s Children’s Program was founded in 1922 by a group of parents who attended the New York Society for Ethical Culture. The school’s founders wanted to provide and ethical education program in Westchester similar to what they had experienced at the New York City Society opened the Children’s Program very soon after the Westchester Ethical Group formed. The Society has continued to offer programs for children and teens ever since.
