At 81, on June 24. Husband of Judy Finamore for 58 years, father of Eric Finamore, David Finamore, Ellen Styler and Daniel Finamore, father-in-law of Leslie Finamore, Mary George, David Styler and Michelle Finamore, grandfather of Will Finamore, Alexander Styler, Natalie Finamore, Benjamin Styler, Oliver Finamore, Zoe Finamore, Madeleine Finamore, Ari Finamore and Evan Finamore. Brother of Anna Finamore and Arnold Finamore, and the late Vincent and Louis Finamore; brother-in-law of Carole Finamore, Shirley Finamore, Barbara Finamore and Paul Goldstein. Son of Peter Finamore and Virginia Cifelli, born in Brooklyn on December 25, 1929, and educated at Brooklyn College and New York University.

Dick married Judy (Goldstein) on June 7, 1953. He and Judy lived in Armonk for 48 years, where they raised four children. Dick had a career at IBM from 1956 until retirement in 1989.

Dick and Judy were active members of the Ethical Culture Society of Westchester for over forty years, and worked for peace, justice and equality. Dick worked for the American Civil Liberties Union and other social, environmental and political causes from which he never retired. He was a devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather and citizen who never stopped taking care of the world and the people around him.

A remembrance and celebration of his life was held at the Ethical Culture Society of Westchester, 7 Saxon Woods Road, White Plains, NY on Sunday, July 3, at 11:00 a.m.
