We live in an intensely interconnected world. Our basic needs are met through a complex network of producers and distributors, our communications extend across the globe in real time, seemingly infinite streams of information are available anytime, anywhere. We define ourselves in relation to our surroundings. With such a broad range of resources at your fingertips, how might you locate your “authentic self?” What might you reasonably expect of yourself? What might reasonably be expected of you by others?
In this talk, WCEC’s clergy leader, Bart Worden, will explore some of the ways our interconnectedness affects how we see ourselves and our places within a larger world.
We’ll be meeting at 11:00 and it will be in-person and on Zoom.
