Join us for the Tuesdays @ Dorry’s Weekly Table Talk group!
This week, we’ll have Michael Hackett lead a discussion on the current presidential election. This surprising election season keeps providing questions to explore and angles from which to investigate them. Bernie Sanders’ support is increasingly evident, for instance, but numbers of delegates are probably too few for him to win. What should he do now–at the convention and after it–to ensure that his agenda is taken seriously by the public and by the candidates? Should Hillary Clinton stay focused on him or re-focus on Donald Trump? And why, oh why, is Trump doing so well? What factors in our economy and our culture underlie his appeal? Come join the discussion!
Food ordering starts at 5:30 pm. The talk starts at 6 pm.
