We experience much of our lives through metaphor, and how we manage our understanding and use of internal metaphors can have a significant impact on our success in getting through hard times. How can we envision our experience in such a way that we can navigate through the conflicted and problematic landscapes of our times and maintain our integrity? ECSW’s clergy leader, Bart Worden will speak about ways people may cope with the stresses and strains of our current times.

Bart Worden is the clergy leader for the Ethical Culture Society of Westchester and executive director for the American Ethical Union, the national federation of Ethical Societies. Bart has also worked for many years in the area of community behavioral health as direct care provider, program developer, and administrator. For several years his social justice efforts have focused on anti-racism efforts especially in relation to criminal justice and fair and affordable housing.
