The primary goal of this presentation is to educate attendees about current bills concerning the end of life, primary in New York. These include the Medical Aid in Dying Act and a bill to ensure that patients are not provided unwanted nutrition and hydration, among other bills. Additionally, existing legislation, the Palliative Care Information Act and Palliative Care Access Act, will be discussed.
