Join Community Voices Heard (CVH) for the Westchester People’s Assembly Against Poverty on Saturday, October 4th in White Plains for the official launch of the County-Wide Anti-Poverty Agenda (see details below.)

“Over the past year, CVH has reached out to communities throughout Westchester to hear from hundreds of everyday working class people about their concerns and ideas for change. Each community echoed the need for affordable after school and childcare programs, housing for low-income residents and increased access to jobs for people with criminal records. We then researched and contacted experts in the field to compile a comprehensive policy agenda to address these issues.

We have heard the voices. We are the voices! I ask you to please join us on October 4th as we launch the first ever people’s agenda to address poverty in Westchester.”
