Join us for the showing of “How to Die in Oregon,” the final film in the “Dying with Dignity” film and discussion series at the Ethical Society of Northern Westchester.
In 1994 Oregon legalized physician-assisted death for the terminally ill. This intimate documentary follows the life of a woman dying from cancer and her family who avail themselves of the new law. They speak of their fears and hopes, while out-of-state residents speak of their disappointments. Corinne Carey, J.D., the NY Campaign Director of Compassion & Choices, will lead a discussion after the film.
Free and open to the public.
