Humanism sometimes gets the reputation of being an ideology or intellectual exercise.  But a full humanism integrates reason, compassion, and responsibility.  The head, heart, and hands metaphor is one that has been used for over a century to describe such a full humanism!

Jone Johnson Lewis has been an Ethical Culture Leader since 1991 and has served as Leader of four Societies and as Interim Executive Director of the American Ethical Union.  She is a third generation humanist.  Beyond Ethical Culture, Jone’s interests include women’s history, organizational development, and genealogy.  She currently lives in Riverdale, New York, with her husband; their children and grandchildren live around the US.

This is a hybrid meeting.
