Is “political equity” an oxymoron? It’s hard to think otherwise in a year when so many people are so divided and when concerns over voter suppression and the downsides of partisan politics are so prevalent. Having greater equity in the United States’ political arena is a critical need, however, and could provide a pathway to a more equitable culture. Let’s look together at ways to point us in a helpful direction.
