Join us for “Environmental Health: An Educational Forum” with ECSW’s Lenny Meyerson and Eric Steinnagel on Sunday, June 19!
Environmental Health is the field of science that studies how the environment influences human health and disease. “Environment” in this context includes air, water and soil, as well as the physical, chemical, biological and social features of our surroundings. Many of the health issues we experience are a consequence of humanity’s influence on the natural environment. Join our open forum to learn how to protect yourself and your family. Bring your questions and concerns. As a community, we can become healthier!
Lenny Meyerson is the former deputy commissioner of environmental health for the Westchester County Department of Health.
Eric Steinnagel is currently a public health sanitarian with the lead division of the Westchester County Department of Health.
